St George’s Day

I had to wear my ‘Proud to be English’ tie today as it is St Georges Day.

I don’t think many people noticed.

It was another horrible day weather-wise.

I think it’s about time someone invented lens wipers for people who wear glasses. Many customers that came in today had to remove their spectacles to give then a wipe down before they could be served.

After work it was a quick change before a dash into Taunton for a super Mediterranean meal at Tournedos No 1

The restaurant is owned by a couple local to Bampton.

We then went to the Brewhouse to see Michael McIntyre who was trying out some new material for his UK tour later in the year.

It’s great that you can see these top artistes for £20 and be seated only 15 foot away from them on stage.

When MM is on at the O2 you can be 100yards away and pay over £50 for the privilege.

He was ace.
