Sunday 14th October

Sunday is market day.
So with trolley in hand we set off to do some haggling.
The stall holders were trying to attract customers by shouting out:

Cheaper than asda and eBay;
Stolen from harrods;
Luvly jubbly;
Genuine fakes;
‘ow much – taking p out if yorky tourists.

Prices are shown in turkish lira and pounds sterling but that is only the start of the process.
I leave my other half to negotiate once I have found something to buy.
I bought a couple of leather belts and the price was 120 lira. After haggling she got them for 70 .
On to buy some fruit and veg and what a choice there was.

Cabbages as big as medicine balls .
We stocked up the trolley and set off back , stopping for a refreshing drink.

This was about noon, some people were tucking into full English whilst others were tucking into Sunday roasts.
At least the Yorkies looked home made and were not aunt bessies!
If you ever need to know how to make proper Yorkies just let me know
