It must be quad bike week as today as I looked outside a quad went past with a driver and two sheep dogs stood up on the back.
This afternoon I went off to Exeter Races.
The strain at working two half days!
At least one of the punters tried to remind me of Turkey by wearing his shorts.
It was good to see a few customers at the races, a few being owners and trainers!
One of our local trainers Jimmy Payne, from Brompton Regis, had a good winner so I had chance to say well done to his wife while he was getting the post-race update from his (Grand National) winning jockey.
Do you recognise him?
It was good racing today and a few potential Cheltenham festival horses were on show.
In one race it was a great spectacle to see Ruby Walsh and Tony McCoy in full flight together over the last fence.
A winning day at the races paid for the Indian takeaway on the way home.
Even better news when I got home, I discovered a way of getting the blog to work!!
