Wednesday 6th February

There was some good news to start the day.

The owner of the dogs that were reported lost yesterday phoned me to say to take the poster down as the dogs had been found safe and well.

They had been locked in a barn.

Our friends, who are volunteer helpers with the Exmoor National Park, asked us to put up this poster.

Wimbleball http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wimbleball_Lake is less than 10 miles from us and often holds lots of events for those that like being out in the fresh air.

Yesterday one of our customers was looking quite healthy when he was on his mobile phone.

Yet, later we saw him in a pool of blood as someone had given him a whack on the head.

The last sight we saw of him was on the mortuary slab prior to his post mortem.

It’s quite surprising where we see our customers.

This one is Tim Preece http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Preece and he was appearing in last week’s Silent Witness, albeit not for a long time!

I presume he will be looking in a better shape when he next comes in the Post office.
